Best of Norfolk food and drink in one marquee.
Our dedicated food marquee promoting all that's good and special in local food and drink.
We have award winning chefs demonstrating in our state of the art demo kitchen.
Worstead Festival has been running for over 50 years and regularly receives nearly 20,000 visitors. Each year the Festival hosts the ‘The Food and Drink Marquee’, with master-classes by some of the region’s best chefs.
Joining us on Sunday 30th July is Richard Bainbridge chef patron at Benedict's, Norwich and 2 times winner of BBC's Great British Menu 2015, returning after his popular appearance here last year. Also on Sunday we have great pleasure in the return of yet another great award winning chef, Roger Hickman, chef patron at Hickman’s in St Gile's, Norwich who has demonstrated his talented and inventive culinary skills for the past three years. Returning for a 2nd year on Sunday is 20 year old Alex Clare the young and very creative chef who works under Dan Smith at the ever popular Ingham Swan, who is already marked out to go a very long way in his career!
Dan Smith himself - who has just been announced as winner of the National Restaurant Chef Award - chef patron of Ingham Swan and chef patron and partner at The Wildebeest and Warwick Street Social in Norwich will join us on Saturday. He also made a very successful appearance on BBC's Great British Menu. We are delighted to welcome back Andy Snowling a talented chef who runs his Little Norfolk Kitchen,
creating, preparing and cooking beautiful ready meals. They are both joined by Mark Sayers of The Saracen's Head, Erpingham to show us his enthusiastic and creative use of very local, very fresh ingredients.
We will also be welcoming other great chefs and producers over the two days, watch this space.
See our Chef's links -.
We also have a lovely band of artisan food producers, suppliers and growers who keep coming back with their bread, cheese, fish, wine and gin and beer, organically grown meat, chutneys and jams, cakes and pastries and fresh veg and more.
