Now taking applications for the 2012 Worstead Food and Produce Marquee and for catering concessions
We are now taking applications for catering concessions for the 2012 Festival. As we are 'The Best of Norfolk Food' we want applicants to be of the highest quality and products, wherever possible, to be locally and ethically sourced. We also welcome applications for food and produce suppliers in the Food Marquee. The marquee is bigger and better than last year and we already have chefs lined up to demonstrate their skills this year. Sam Bryant of Strattons Hotel, Swaffham and Steve Norgate of The Beechwood, North Walsham are joining us again this year (they had such a good time last year!). If you have really good products or produce and want to join us or even give a demonstration please ask for an application pack. Lorraine at food@worsteadfestival.org
Pye Bakers and Icarus Hines
Grimsby of Pye Bakers, Norwich and Icarus Hines, butcher of Sheringham, both added to the Food Event last year showing off their skills in bakery and butchery and they really entertained us - throwing dough and cutting up meat (less gruesome than it sounds!) Thankyou both so much! Hopefully see you again this year.
Gateaux Fabuleux
Lynn at Gateaux Fabuleux was brilliant, bringing her indulgent world of handmade French Patisseries to brighten up the Food Event. Her demonstration (her very first ever and you'd never have guessed!) was loved by the kids. Thank you, Lynn.

Science in a Suitcase
Will be making a welcome return to the Kids Area
Music

This year, kids come first with a whole area dedicated to them!

We’re making sure the younger festival goers have fun too. With a dedicated area just for the kids (and adults who are kids at heart) there will be plenty of fun and games on offer and the chance to get creative.

Adventure park BeWILDerwood won’t be able to encourage the shy Boggles along, but there will be races, storytelling and general woodland fun.

Razz the Clown is coming along with his own brand of fun and games (and bikes!) and Science in a Suitcase will amaze and entertain.

And children will be able to get stuck into some crafts too or be transformed into a princess or even a lizard by face-painters.

There will also be a range of kid related stalls for you to look around
